Class "D" Ultra-Efficient
The PDX-5 has a digital class "D" power supply which will make the amplifier run cooler and more efficiently.  Additional advantages of class "D" are that the amp will not drain your car battery.  The digital power supply will give you more power per watt, because of how efficient it is.  So to make a long story short this amp sound like way more than 600 watts RMS!

Powers Your complete System:
5 Channel amplifiers are made for you to run 4 channels to your highs and mids and the 5th mono channel to 1, 2, or 3 subs.  So basically, you run 1 speaker to each of the 4 channels, and then run the sub(s) to the 5th channel.  This all in one solution will give you less problems than having 2 separate amps.  That is because you will have less wires running on the floor of your car.  Less wires, means less electrical problems. 

Built in high and low pass crossovers
This amplifier will last a really long time!  They will also make your speakers and your subs last a really long time.  The 1st 4 channels of the amp has a high pass crossover filter built in.  That means it will only allow highs and mids to come out of your 4 speakers.  You can set the exact frequency to your taste.  This will protect your speakers because they will not play any sounds they were not meant to play.  This will prevent them from distorting, and this will prevent them from blowing.  (Distortion causes speakers to blow).

The mono channel has a built in low-pass crossover.  The low pass crossover is going to only allow deep bass to play out of your subs.  Again, this crossover is also adjustable so you can set the frequency to your taste.  This will make your subs sound good and prevent them from getting damaged.

600 True Watts!
This amp has a huge amount of power!  I would rate this in the top 2 most powerful 5 channel amps we ever carried.  With this amp your system will be loud enough to be heard from 3 blocks away.  The nice thing about this amp is that it matches up the 4 channels and the mono channel equally so you will hear your mids and bass equally.  (You can also adjust the gain control to set how loud you want the mids and bass)
