The Amplivox SIR222 Infrared Buddy is an ultra portable, battery powered PA system with a single installed 6x8 inch speaker and an infrared lavaliere wireless mic. This all inclusive unit is perfect for any kind of indoor application because of its 2,500 square foot coverage area and compact and lightweight 11 inch x 13.5 inch x 4.5 inch design.
Fit with advanced infrared wireless technology, the SIR222 provides trouble free wireless with no dropouts and no transmission through walls, meaning more convenience and more security. The SIR222 is also loaded with a wide range of audio and utility features, including a line out jack for an external recording device, an aux input stereo jack with independent volume for an external CD player, tape player or projector, two additional mic inputs for wired mics, and a gripper handle and adjustable shoulder strap.
The SIR222 provides 200 hours of talk time on 10 'D' cell batteries, though it can also be powered by the S1465 NiCad rechargeable battery pack with an S1460 AC adapter/charger. The unit can also run on AC power alone with the same S1460 adapter.
