To get the most out of your 802.11n-enabled Mac, you need the AirPort Extreme Base Station. Don’t worry, your other computers (Mac or PC), Wifi-enabled gaming systems and printers won’t be left out: the base station also supports 802.11a/b/g, and there are 3 LAN ports on the base, so you can have one amazingly fast network for all your machines. You choose the support your network needs: the station runs in either 802.11a/n mode, or 802.11b/g/n mode.
The Airport Extreme base station is designed with your security in mind. It features Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA/WPA2); Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) 64- bit and 128- bit encryption; MAC Address Filtering; NAT Firewall, support for RADIUS authentication 802.X, PEAP, LEAP, TTLS, and FAST; and time-base access control.

Connect your DSL or cable modem to the AirPort Extreme Base Station, then quickly set it up with the easy-to-use AirPort Utility, which is available for both Mac OS X and Windows.
