Professional 2000-Watt Light Weight Stereo Power Amplifier with ATR (Accelerated Transient Response) Technology!

The EPX series by Behringer represents the latest in power amplifier technology.  These amps are light-weight, yet they produce un-matched power compared to any other amp in its price range.  Power amps have always been heavy, mainly because of the massive transformers and the large heat sinks. The EPX Series amps are based on groundbreaking switch-mode technology which eliminates the heavy transformers. These use similar technology as a class "D" amp.  They have a fully digital power supply which draws less power from the power supply and allows the amp to be way more efficient than a conventional amp with a normal power supply.

The EPX2000 weighs just 22 lbs.  Best of all, it has the most reliable switch-mode power supply which provides an even tighter bass performance and the ability to deliver high current peak output levels without ever clipping..
