Bernoulli Gents Automatic Multi-Function Leather Strap/Hunter Green-Silver White Dial
True to Bernoulli craftsmanship, this timepiece has been created with not only a unique new way to look at timekeeping, but also a beautiful and refined appearance for his wrist. Upon this sleek two-layer dial is a plethora of complications... set askew if only to give off an uncommon view of time. Above, the sun and moon gradually shift around from within a window that keeps just enough of their view to the imagination. Below, an oversized subsidiary dial allows the red seconds hand to gently tick away. Finally, a small, yet inquisitive set of dual windows keep you abreast of not only the date but also the day of the week without overpowering the other functions around them. All of this with an aristocratic stainless steel case, genuine leather strap, and shimmering finish upon the components inside.

Daniel Bernoulli, son of Johann Bernoulli, was born into a family of leading mathematicians but also into one of rivalry, jealousy and bitterness.
Daniel’s most important work, written while he was in St Petersburg, was his work on hydrodynamics. Even the term itself is based on the title of the work which he produced called Hydrodynamica.
Unfortunately, Johann was furious with the concept of his son being his intellectual equal. Johann’s own drive to best his son continued throughout his senior years. Hydrodynamica was finally published in 1738, however the following year Johann published Hydraulica which is largely based on his son's work. Johann even went to the trouble to make it look as if Daniel had based Hydrodynamica on Hydraulica by predating the date of publication on his book to 1732 instead of its real date of 1739. This attempt to gain credit for his son’s work exemplified the true depth of a father’s jealousy towards his own child.
Daniel Bernoulli’s legacy has made him one of the most innovative mathematicians and scientists of our time. It’s only fitting that in his honor we present to you this watch collection created with cutting-edge automatic movements and designs.
