In 2008, Citizen Watch Company Limited launched an Eco-Drive radio controlled watch capable of receiving standard time radio waves from multiple stations, including China.

The five stations are Germany, the United States, east and west Japan, and China.

The watch displays both home time and local time. When local time is selected, the watch automatically captures transmissions from the nearest station. As a result, it offers accurate time in these major regions and countries: Europe, the United States, Japan and China.

A feature of the design is the way the register ring has been located beneath the glass, with the black-and-white color scheme giving the watch an adventurous look. The detailed design of the pushbuttons also proclaims the model's individuality.

As well as showing home time and region, the watch also displays Universal Time, power reserve, local city and time, and date. For world time, users can choose from 43 cities in 29 time zones, and can switch easily between home time and local time – a useful function when traveling across time zones.

Other features include alarm, chronograph, timer, and LED light.
