Welcome to my listing for a complete set of all six brand new and factory-sealed Rahkshi lego kits from the 2003 Bionicle series.  Now discontinued by Lego, these sets are increasingly hard to find and would make exceptional gifts for any Bionicle fan!  Included are #8587 - Panrahk, #8588 - Kurahk, #8589 - Lerahk, #8590 - Guurahk, #8591 - Vorahk, and #8592 - Turahk.  Each of the six sets contains 45 pieces and builds a fearsome Rahkshi warrior, formed from the essence of Makuta (evil mastermind of the Bionicle universe) and infused with his destructive power!

The Rahkshi are composed of living, sluglike Kraata placed within non-living suits of armor (each Kraata serves as the "brain" of a Rahkshi, and controls it from a "cockpit" just behind the creature's head; see the 5th image below).  Each Rahkshi is unquestioningly loyal to Makuta, and would think nothing of self-sacrifice in the advancement of his cause.  Since Makuta's goals include the defeat of the heroic Toa and enslavement of all the Bionicle world's inhabitants (while his aims are not exactly noble, he does pursue them with an admirable clarity of purpose), he frequently finds himself in conflict with the Toa and Matoran ("civilians" from whose ranks the Toa champions arise).  In need of soldiers as formidable in battle as they are devoted to their master, he has bestowed upon each Rahkshi one of his many powers, given expression through a unique magical staff:

Panrahk channels the power of fragmentation, and his staff fires explosive projectiles that can travel through both ground and air at great speed; he maintains a mental link with these missiles, and with a thought can detonate them precisely at the point of maximum effect!

Kurahk is perpetually enraged, and in battle seeks to unleash this hatred on his opponents.  His staff fires rings of anger; when struck by this power, opposing warriors are driven mad, consumed with animosity toward even their own allies!  With his foes turned on each other, it is a simple matter for him to wade into the resulting chaos and finish them off for good!

Ever patient, Lerahk possesses dominion over poison and contamination.  A student of tactics, he takes the time to observe an opponent's capabilities, before closing to strike with his staff.  This power may also be employed against obstructing vegetation, or even the very ground itself, creating a toxic "dead zone" that is hazardous to all life.

At his mental command, Guurahk's staff unleashes a destructive blast of dark energy; due to his unerring skill in discerning a target's weakest point, this attack is invariably aimed where the resulting damage will be greatest, and the unfortunate recipient of such a blow disintegrates completely within moments of impact!

Most ruthless and cunning of the Rahkshi, Vorahk uses his Staff of Hunger to drain the strength from his adversaries and transfer it to himself!  So empowered while his foes are weakened, he is nearly impossible to defeat!

Turahk wields the power of fear, and through sheer force of will can induce terror and panic in even the most brave and battle-hardened of opponents; depending on what the situation calls for, they can be made to either flee his presence or freeze where they stand, unable to summon even enough courage to move.

When threatened by an enemy that is beyond their individual capabilities to defeat, multiple Rahkshi can merge into fighting machines of even greater power, combining with one another to form Rahkshi Kaita (see the final image below; instructions for both Kaita are included in the Rahkshi sets).  Each Kaita not only wields the powers of the three Rahkshi from which it is formed, but also possesses a supremely destructive fourth ability.  Vorahk, Panrahk, and Guurahk combine to form Kaita Vo, a four-legged monster with heads facing both forward and back, gifted with the ability to absorb the energy of its foes and turn it back on them as a focused blast of devastating power!  Turahk, Lerahk, and Kurahk join to create Kaita Za, a mighty beast that can transform into a whirling cyclone of destruction capable of laying waste to all that stands before it!
