ZOCCHIHEDRON MK II (TM) Black D100 - NEW

This new and improved Mark II 100 sided dice from Gamescience is a great way to use a simple single roll for generating a 1 to 100 number. No longer must you use two D10 and try and remember which one each player rolls first. One die, one roll, and no doubt.

This posting is for a single MK II die 100, black with white numbers. The surface of the die is covered in clear plastic and the internal ball is numbered 1 to 100. Like the MK I D100, the MK II is hollow and filled with loose weighting inside. This design encourages the die to stop faster as the die rolls and the weight shifts to the bottom. When you shake the die, it will actually rattle.

Interestingly some people online are saying this change has something to do with making the D100 more random. The MK I was already as random as any die with 100 sides can be and the MK II does not improve on randomness. When the MK II was in development, we spoke with Lou from Gamescience and he indicated quite clearly that his goal was to cut down the roll time so the MK II would stop faster than the MK I. The MK II does tend to settle down on a number and lock in much faster then the old MK I design did.

Like the old D100, the new D100 measures 38mm tall. In fact externally you will notice almost no difference from the old D100s. The outside has not changed, only the internal weights have been upgraded. So if you ever wanted a D100 or you already own one but want the new model, here we have the new and improved model ready to ship.

This die is sure to make a nice addition to any gamer’s collection. It is brand new.
