The Davis Instruments Wireless Weather Envoy
allows you to receive and store data from the
Wireless Vantage Pro2 integrated sensor suite
and post it to your computer. This allows
you to move you Vantage Pro2 display console
wherever you like and no longer have to tethered
it to your computer to process real time data.
The 6316 Wireless Weather Envoy model is used in
conjunction with the Vantage Pro2 WeatherLink
software/data logger (not included) and allows
you to collect and store data from the outdoor
sensors. You can then download the data to your
computer at your convenience or while connected
to your PC see real time data using the
WeatherLink software to view current conditions,
graph and chart historical data, or even create
your own weather web pages.
The Weather Envoy includes its own barometer and
inside temperature and humidity sensors. This
unit includes an AC power adapter or it can be
run using three AA batteries. Batteries will
last up to six months depending on the logging
interval.
Please note: The Weather Envoy
requires the Vantage Pro2 WeatherLink data
logger and software to function which is NOT
included.
