QUIET COMPUTER CASE FAN
This is a listing for brand new, quiet 92mm case fans. These fans come with free screws and 3pin + 4pin combo connectors. With 3 pin connector you may power the fan directly from the motherboard or you can use the 4 pin connector to utilize one of the 4 pin plugs [the ones the hard drives or cd-roms use]. It has both male and female plugs, so it shares, does not occupy.

If the 3 pin connector does not fit, you should use the 4pin molex connector, the ones that are used by the CD-ROM, hard drive, and DVD optic drives.

When using the 4pin connector, the fan will work just fine.  However, your computer may think there is no fan installed because of not using the motherboard connector.  You simply can turn off the fan detector to avoid warnings.
