This 60 minute DVD is personally instructed by Fred Rowe. Follow along with Fred as he gives a detailed demonstration on how to place an ink sketch on canvas. Fred then leads you on to painting with ink and the proper way to do an oil wash. Fred uses pen for color, shade and detail application, and finishes with the oil wash for mood and warmth.
Fred Rowe has been dedicated to the art world for over twenty years. He received his associate art degree from Montana Western College in 1975 and continued his career as a free lance artist and art teacher at the Conservatory of Fine Arts and Music in Montana. Mr. Rowe has also received many first place awards for his soft sculpture and stone carving. His talent for mastering the diversity of painting and sculpture was deiplayed in his exciting 1985 one-man show in Indiana. Fred works with air brush, pen and ink, watercolor, oils, sculpture and carving.
