ABOUT ME

The Deluxe is one of the best banjo values available anywhere. Built with Deering’s genuine bell bronze tone ring (20 hole), three ply rock maple rim and one piece, cast, zinc resonator flange, this Deluxe is as easy to play as it is beautiful.

The mother of pearl inlay in the ebony peghead overlay is the very first Deering logo and was designed by Greg Deering for his very first banjo in 1969. The multicolor binding and high gloss finish enhance the slotted diamond inlays on the exotic, sometimes brightly colorful, un-stained, natural ebony fingerboard.

One of Deering’s oldest and most popular models, this banjo brings the power, easy playability and maintenance together in a beautiful, historically important banjo that is just as much at home on the front porch as it is on the road. It truly is a Deluxe banjo.

Our store is a Deering Premier Dealer, and this banjo will come with Deering’s full lifetime warranty. The Deering hardshell case is also included. List price on this model is $3,159.

Notes on international shipping: Serious bidders or buyers outside the continental US must contact us for a shipping quote before purchasing. Please include your city, country and postal code. We generally answer shipping inquiries Monday through Friday. Some information and guidelines for you: our preferred method of shipping internationally is USPS Express Mail. This method carries an insurance limit of $650. If the item is valued at over this cost, we can only ship by this method if the buyer assumes responsibility for any amount over $650 should the item be lost or damaged in shipping. To fully insure more expensive items, we will have to use UPS Worldwide or Global Express, both of which can range in cost from $300-$700. Some countries such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand & Hungary have very restrictive size limits on Express Mail, and in these cases we MUST ship items like guitars and banjos via UPS or Global Express. You may have to pay customs duties as determined by your local jurisdiction upon the item’s arrival. We have no way of anticipating what these costs may be. Sorry, we do not adjust invoices to reflect a lower price for customs duties.
