Shipping insurance is optional for lower 48 domestic states if item value is more than $100 and free for items under $100. Shipping insurance is required for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international destinations. If domestic buyer chooses to opt out of shipping insurance, the purchase will only be covered up to an insurance value of $100 with carrier.
