In both home and commercial gyms, you will often see people sitting or kneeling on whatever surface they can find to perform a multitude of upper body routines when an FID bench is unavailable or unreasonable. While this does work, they are often sacrificing their safety and comfort by doing so. A great answer to this is the EF-4414, which is a sturdy flat bench with a heavy weight capacity. The sturdy and well-designed pad is bolted to L brackets on either side of the single piece frame so the sensation of rocking or bowing that can occur when the backboard is just bolted to the frame alone is eliminated. This single piece frame with support brackets also creates a quick assembly with a few steel bolts.

A great feature the EF-4414 that sets it apart from other flat benches is the dumbbell rack located beneath the bench. The rack is bolted securely to the frame and allows for storage of your favorite dumbbells right below the bench. This creates a streamlined appearance and increased safety with the elimination of random dumbbells lying around loosely.
