This is one powerful portable winch. It has the capacity to be mounted various ways, and is ideal for a boat trailer, especially for a large boat.
This auction is for one brand new Vortex Brute 3500 portable recovery winch. The term brute is quite appropriate, as this monster is indeed a BRUTE. With 3500 lbs of dead pull power, 10500 lbs of rolling load power, and 11000 of marine power, it should be quite capable of handling most winching tasks. Additionally, there are the many other uses that winches are very handy for...Since you have your own reasons for looking at such a device, we will move on to more information about us and the Vortex Brute series winches.
If you want a cheap winch and are willing to sacrifice quality and performance to get that, then you may want to look at another brand. I have no doubt we could get our hands on a cheaper, lower quality winch to supply you, but we do not want to take that approach. We leave that to the travelling tool shows, etc..
Is this really a good product? Anybody considering such a purchase would probably ask that. This should answer that for you. We back these with a solid two year warranty. That is right, 2 years. If you look at other winches, especially those on ebay, the whole warranty issue is either avoided or is very weak...30 days or so. We cannot imagine purchasing an item of this magnitude without a warranty or with a weak warranty, so the steps are taken to provide a good solid product. These are so solid that we are comfortable with backing them with a 2 year warranty. How can we do this? Ok, take a look at these winches. The components, the whole unit, the product come from the same sources as some of the big brand names. Yes, you heard it correctly..the Vortex Brute Series recovery winches are incredibly similar to some of the big brand names. So, why does a Vortex Brute Series winch cost 1/3 to 1/2 of what a major brand does????? You are buying factory direct. Some winch companies spend millions of dollars on advertising...Yes, millions...and those millions of dollars trickle down to the purchase price for consumers like me and you. This is a chance to bypass that and lock into the same quality and performance that normally costs two to three times more. This is the best possible combination of value and performance.

This one even has the power in and power out option..a lot of these type winches will just power in...this one will power out, so you can contol the load as you let it out..This is a nice upgrade.
