NEW Fair Trade, Hand Made Vase, Pottery From Nicaragua

This large, beautiful, earth toned vase was hand made in San Juan de Oriento, Nicaragua

The village in known for its intricate and unique designs. It features two large serpents, with the tail comprised of snakes, and  elephant heads depicting its scales. Much prettier than it sounds!

This vase in a textured, relief design and was inspired by traditional pre-Columbian

art and the natural environment, as well as outside influences.

The bottom is signed by the artist.

This vase is hand-thrown & etched, colored with mineral oxides, and fired in a brick kiln.

It has a semi-gloss finish over freckled clay.

It measures 24.5" round at it's widest point, 9" high & 3" round at the opening

A saucer underneath the vase is recommended due to it being slightly porous.

I use the least expensive shipping method, depending on the item. Usually that will be First Class. Other times it may require Parcel Post, UPS, or Priority Mail.

International shipments(except for Canada) will be shipped Priority Mail only.
