Movie description
Joss Whedon follows up his hugely successful BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER series for Fox with FIREFLY, an action-packed fusion of the science-fiction and western genres. Set five hundred years in the future, FIREFLY depicts a troubled world after a massive universal civil war. The resulting power party, the Alliance, control everyone and everything, except for Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and the crew of his spaceship, Serenity. As the Alliance continues to wreak havoc on the world, Malcolm does what he can to restore order to his surroundings.

Fan Note From the Seller:

  • Firefly is my ALL-TIME NUMBER 1 FAVORITE TV SHOW.  It is sad it lasted only one season, as the first season was just building up / preparing / laying the foundations for what, I think, would have been truly great. Alas, Fox canceled it after 11 episodes aired. One of the biggest problems was that Fox chose to air the episodes out of order. (???) 
  • (The movie, Serenity, was a nice try to continue the story, but it fell WAY short of the mark.  I liked it, but about 40% less than I like the show.)
  • Be sure to turn your friends on to Firefly.
