Warranty Policy: Thisther This telescope will ship directly from an Authorized Meade Dealer. The telescope is brand new, it is not refurbished and it is not reconditioned. As a result, the full origianl factory warranty applies. That is a standard 1 year warranty against defects. Other sellers have a simple policy -- no warranty and "buyer beware." We don't work that way. This telescope is covered by the original factory warranty because it is coming directly from an Authorized Meade Dealer. If your telescope is damaged in shipment, you must notify us with 5 days of receipt so we may file a claim with the carrier. We do not accept returns of Meade telescopes.
