A fun kit for families,young adults and grown-ups who want to learn a new craft Kiln measures 3 1/4" H x 4 1/2" D with an interior fusing platform of 2.75" Some people are attracted to the larger microwave kilns, however in my experience (30 years of fusing) it is far better to go with the smaller kiln and make one pendant at a time rather than six~because different glasses and different colors heat at different rates and it is very difficult to control when making multiple at one time ~ do you want six disasters at once? These kilns heat up and cool rather quickly, so making more than one is not too much of a problem. I am always glad to try to help you with your fusing questions to achieve great results~I offer support by e-mail. There is a different seller out there with the larger kiln (different brand) who likes to trash the smaller ones~ I really feel this is unjustified ~ They must not know much about fusing.
