This nebulizer is one of the best and smallest on the market.  Extremely portable and small, but has the power of that large nebulizer you have at home.  The  DC adapter (car cigarette plug in)  that is included will allow you to be out and about for use in your Car or Boat,  giving you the option for your treatment when and where you want.  While at home you use the AC adapter for your power source.  Also with the DC adapter this could be a life saver when you have a loss of electricity and are in need of a breathing treatment (just go to your car and you have power). This is one small compressor weighing less than a pound, and one of the quietest available. The nebulizer is about the same size an old Sony Walkman.  With the included easy to carry bag you take your nebulzier and accessories with you for treatments when you need them most.
