WYLAND's lessons include his personal techniques, coupled with the elements of art: shape, form, line, space, texture, color, and value.
WYLAND will also incorporate the Basic Principals of design: emphasis, balance, variety, rhythm, unity and proportion.
Mission:
To inspire people to participate in efforts to preserve all life in the sea.
Wyland (he only uses his last name) works out of his Laguna Beach studio and is a marine muralist whose paintings of ocean life grace building in the United States and around the world. Wyland also started the Wyland Foundation, an eco friendly group that is unique because it uses art to introduce people to ocean preservation.
