What's great about it: Everything!!
What's not so great: glare? maybe?
"I planned on getting an lcd tv, sony or samsung, primarily for gaming. I had a 42 inch samsung dlp and was a great tv but i needed and upgrade. I was going with the samsung until I saw a bright light over this 42 inch Panasonic plasma tv. This tv spoke to me saying "it" was the one. I spoke with a best buy associate and he explained all the details to me and I fell in love with this tv. It looks just as good and even better than some lcd sets in that store for a fraction of the price. As soon as i got home with this tv, I hooked it up to my xbox 360 and WOW!! It was amazing!! The clarity is perfect. I highly recomment this set to anyone who is interested in a flat screen tv. I may buy another one for my bathroom. :)"

What's great about it: Picture Fantastic, HD reception flawless
What's not so great: Nothing
"After much research, I was looking at 2 different TV's Samsung and Panasonic Plasma. Let me say that I prefer Plasma to Lcd as lcd is too bright for my taste, the panasonic picks up HD channels wonderfully. Also, he 20 x W speakers work great, my living space is not huge, so they may be at an advantage here, but I bought Monster Fiber Optic Audio Cable, i use Sony Opyical Audio from my reciever, this is beautiful. True Dolby Digital, this was a great buy for me. I highly recommend the Opt. cable!
I will utilze the HDMI port 1 very soon,thus i will update myreview but for the money really Panasonic is the way to go. I may buy another. My personal favorite is Sony , but i haven't seen a plasma for them. Panasonic, my experience with them has been vast with previous employers utilizing their plasmas..no complaints here. Get this TV , the price is great and you won't be disappointed."
