NEW RADIOSHACK CUE CAT BARCODE SCANNER PS2 INTERFACE

You are bidding on a NEW Factory Sealed Cue Cat with PS2 interface.

This is probably the most economical barcode reader you will ever find. There are lots of websites supporting the use of Cue Cats for all different kinds of applications.  Searching the web for 'Cue Cat' or 'Cue Cat Software' will bring up all the information you need, from the history of the Cue Cat, to software that allows you to use the Cue Cat as a simple barcode reader or software that performs some other task using the Cue Cat for input. (Like cataloging your CD or DVD collection.  Too you can find sites that instruct you on hardware modifications you can preform on the Cue Cat to modify it's output. 

It's a wonderful little device with plenty of personal and business applications. 

The Cue Cat comes with a PS2 Keyboard adapter cable that allows your keyboard and Cue Cat to be plugged in at the same time. The original owners manual and software are also included. 

Things you should be aware of:

1) These Cue Cats are straight from the factory, no modifications have been done.  That way you decide whether or not to modify the unit.

2) The software that comes with the Cue Cats is the original software and is no longer usable.( The reason it's no longer usable is it was designed to require an activation code from the manufacturer, which is no longer in business) But this is no problem because most people never used the software that came with it anyway.

3) As stated above, there is a whole community of Cue Cat users out there.  So make sure and research it's use before you buy.
