NEW Silver Toned China Shanghai Men's 19 Jewels Watch

HI, this is for a RARE new old stock China made Shanghai men's 19 jewel mechanical watch with date funtion. It is in new working condition and keeps time.

Its size is about 34mm wide excluding its crown. Its power reserve is about 36 hours.  

It is made by the premier manufacturer of mechanical watches in China.

It has a clean, simple classical dial design, with a white face and silver toned stainless steel case with stainless steel back. Highlighting the design is the  "Shanghai" logo in stylized calligraphic Chinese characters.

From its inception in 1958, until the early 1980s, the Shanghai Watch Factory was the premier watch manufacturer for the domestic Chinese market, using Swiss equipment imported in the 1950s.  It was THE Chinese watch before the advent of quartz watches made it obsolete.
