The sheer rock walls of the Columbia River Gorge hold a 10,000-year-old treasure – petroglyphs and pictographs carved by Native American inhabitants. These ancient images were the creative inspiration for our Rock Art blanket. Tribal hunting scenes are represented by mountain sheep, birds and the hands of the hunter. The pattern is woven on our jacquard looms in Pendleton, Oregon – just down the road from the original carvings. Blanket reverses for a different color impact. Unnapped. Felt binding. Pure virgin wool/cotton. Dry clean. Made in the USA.
