POLISH BOLESLAWIEC UNIKAT POTTERY LARGE SERVING BOWL - DOG PATTERN
"Unikat" or signiture patterns are the most treasured of the Polish Stoneware Pottery, from Boleslawiec Poland. Known for the quality of their white clay, this area produces some of the world's most quality pottery. Quality 1, Ceramika Artystyczna, signed piece.
This soft white clay is fired at 2300 degrees Farenheit until it becomes hard as stone. This firing process makes the pottery exceptional for baking, as it holds heat so evenly. Very resistant to chips and breakage. Each piece is handpainted and signed, having the unique characteristics of hand crafted pottery... the pieces are lead-free and non-toxic.
Safe for oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Some people love to collect this pottery for its lovely character to display. Others insist on it for baking and cooking! Everyday use makes this pottery something you can appreciate each and every day and the durability makes this possible.
