This soft white clay is fired at 2300 degrees Farenheit until it becomes hard as stone. This firing process makes the pottery exceptional for baking, as it holds heat so evenly. Very resistant to chips and breakage. Each piece is handpainted and signed, having the unique characteristics of hand crafted pottery... the pieces are lead-free and non-toxic.
Safe for oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Some people love to collect this pottery for its lovely character to display.
