Zombies, mummies, and vampires, and it's not even midnight yet. Looks like it going to be a long night. Flashlight in one hand and weapon in the other, you step out into the hallway. Time to clean this place up.

When Darkness Comes is a tile-based board game that combines roleplaying with boardgaming. This is the first core set, titled "The Awakening." It is set in a modern day horror setting with all kinds of undead for players to deal with (six complete scenarios are included as well as a gamemaster campaign). It can be played either with a gamemaster or without. WDC uses the "variable tile" system so every game the play area changes. This in turn causes every game to be different from the last one.

When Darkness Comes: The Awakening includes 1 Rule Book, 1 Scenario/Background Book, 6 pre-generated character cards, 6 pewter minis to match the pre- generated characters, 15 board tiles, 55 encounter disks, 41 other disks, 10 dice, and 32 character sheets. This boxed set is brand new still sealed in shrink wrap.
