Before answering this question, it is important to explode the myths attached to custom club making.

The glitzy specialty stores and pro shops invest in cameras and computers, to create the illusion of the perfect “fit”.

They would have you believe all golfers play better golf if they are fitted with these devices. The truth is, there is no such thing as a perfect fit. All golfers experience swing changes day to day, that belies this idea.

The only thing this equipment measures, for sure, is the size of your wallet. It is a sure fire way to justify high price. We refer to this type of club selling as “intimidation by data”.

Competent club makers realize only a limited number of changes can be made, to make the ideal club for any golfer. There is no need for complicated expensive fitting equipment to make these changes.

There are 3 basic components in all clubs. They are the head, shaft and grip.

Modern head design helps, by being more forgiving, on less than perfect hits. The newer steels and alloys add more distance to the average shot.

We only employ heads with a proven track record of success. We don’t merely use designs because they are “new”. We admit borrowing technology from effective head design. After all, famous high priced brands apparently do the same.

Our heads are made from the finest stainless steel blends. They are invest cast (like fine jewelry) or in the case of certain alloys, are forged. These heads are the equal of any used by expensive name brand club companies.

Next consider the shaft. Before looking at shaft options, please remember, most golfers from 13 to 80, will play their best golf with regular flex shafts of standard length. However, there are men over 6'2" and women over 5'8" who need longer clubs. There are also men under 5'7" and women under 5'2", who need shorter clubs.

We have stiffer shafts for the faster swing speeds, as well as ladies and senior shafts. Our shafts are premium graphite and steel.

Buying exotic shafts at inflated prices rarely, if ever improves performance.

Our top caliber shafts, on a par with any high cost name brand. In most cases superior to expensive advertised sellers.

We will provide you with the right length and flex shaft. We can do this, usually, at no extra charge.

Almost all “off the shelf” clubs, including the high priced ones, are assembled, either overseas or by unskilled, low cost labor.

Our clubs are built, only, by qualified experienced club makers.

We specify exactly the components of the clubs you are buying.

We supply our own premium graphite and steel shafts. We are able to maintain sane prices by quantity purchases of these shafts and the grips we use.

At absolutely, no additional charge, you can have regular, stiff, senior or women’s shafts. Once more, at no added cost, your clubs will be made to your desired length..

Extra charges are only incurred when, higher priced components are requested. Keep in mind, we have not found club performance to be enhanced, by the use of these more expensive parts.

All of our clubs carry a 2 Year Warranty. We will fix or replace any club with defective materials or workmanship.

Our graphite shafts, for men, are costly seamless, filament wound, low torque, 100% graphite. Women’s and seniors are premium lighter weight, 100% graphite. Our steel shafts are the premium pro quality Apollo seamless steel shafts.

We maintain sensible prices by avoiding expensive, heavily advertised name brand shafts. They do not perform better, and sometimes, not as well, as the shafts we use.

Don’t be fooled by clubs with unbelievably low prices. They are famous for using cheap composite and lower grade commercial shafts

We invest more in shafts, than they spend for their entire club.
