NEW YORK, NEW HAVEN & HARTFORD RR 8 1/4" PLATE EXCEL

• Item:   New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad - 8 1/4" plate
• Manufacturer:  Buffalo China 
• Year of production: 1920's to 1930's (based on buffalo backstamp design) 
• Pattern:  Merchants 
• Topmark/Logo: Yes - Center of plate has black locomotive with three cars, and "NEW HAVEN" on the side of the second car. Red outline of the New England coastline, with sailing ship, whale, and trees/mountains. Outer pinstripes are white and shades of gray. All pinstripes, logo, and designs are clear, bright, and in excellent condition 
• Backstamp: "Buffalo China - Made expressly for N-Y-N-H & H- R-R Co. - Furnished by Thompson Winchester Co. - Boston" with a large buffalo on top 
• Measurements:  Plate is 9 3/4" wide and 7/8" deep 
• Condition:  Excellent condition - Center of the top surface of the plate has only very slight usage marks, with no glaze loss. Topmark logo and designs are sharp and clear with no fading or blurring. There is no discoloration, age spotting, chips, cracks, crazing, or manufacturing flaws anywhere on the plate  
• Additional Comments:  Beautiful display piece plate of the Merchants pattern of the NYNH&H RR
