Property Description

The property is situated west from Winnemucca approx 45 minute drive and south from Jungo Road (State Road 49), in Humboldt County, North Nevada. Winnemucca is full of classic charm with a population of 7,593 residents. The historic downtown area is interspersed with delightful boutiques, restaurants, pubs and the hometown businesses that serve the community. It is a great jumping-off point for many types of outdoor recreation. Nearby are fabulous hiking, hunting and biking trails, as well as miles of ATV and off-road adventure trails. The Rye Patch State Recreational Area is about 14 miles south from the property, where visitors can enjoy camping, picnicking, fishing and water-skiing at the recreation area's 22-mile long reservoir on the Humboldt River just west of Interstate 80. Located 22 miles north of Lovelock and 50 miles southwest of Winnemucca, Rye Patch is open all year round.

There are gorgeous views of the surrounding area as you can see in the pictures, to the northwest is the South Jackson Mountains Wilderness and the Black Rock Desert Geyser, Blue Mountains to the northeast, Antelope Range to the southwest and Eugene Mountains to the south. In this area you find several scenic by-ways to national parks, state parks, springs, lakes, rivers, creeks, etc. North Nevada is not just a great place to visit, it's also a terrific place to live, and is specially for investment, active retirees and vacation homes.

There is a dirt road that goes through the property. You can drive there with pick up truck or SUV. It is generally flat, open range land with awesome surroundings, covered with grasses, sage brushes and wild flowers.
