This is a nice example of a German Reichwehr Bayonet Model 98/05. This particular one wears a beautiful blued blade that measures 14 3/8 inches in length which remains in superb condition and is well marked on one side "SIMSON & Co SUHL" as well as dated on the spine "16". The crossguard is well stamped "1920" and the wooden grips remain healthy. The blued metal scabbard also remains very nice with only a few small dings. Overall, the Bayonet measures 19 1/2 inches in length. There is no reserve. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
