This is a good example of a German Prussian Infantry Sword M 89 with a front folding guard. It is mounted with a straight, multi-grooved blade that measures 29 1/2 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition with just some very minor surface blemishes. The front folding guard is adorned with the Prussian Eagle and also remains in very good condition as well as continues to wear its original leather finger loop. The lovely grip remains nice also with its original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The metal scabbard has a few very minor dings, nevertheless remains in very nice serviceable condition. Overall measuring 36 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
