This is a very good example of a Japanese Cavalry NCO Sword, Type 32 with Matching numbers. It is mounted with a beautifully well-preserved machine made blade that measures 32 1/2 inches in length. The Sword wears a metal D-guard with a checkered wooden grip which has also survived very well with only a little darkening to the medal, however the Tokyo Arsenal stamp can still be made out. The Matching metal scabbard has one small ding and has begun to patine with age, nevertheless, remains in very good condition as well. Overall measuring 39 3/4 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
