The ROLAND MT-32 is a Fantastic Multi-Timbre Tone Module with sounds like the popular D-50. It uses the same basic LAS type digital synthesis to create its sounds, and it has some rhythm presets that sound similar to the TR-626 rhythm machine. As far as voices, the MT-32 has 128 sounds grouped into 17 instrument groups like bass, synth, wind, perc, etc...
Used by many Famous Software and Studio Companies, such as, The Sierra Software Company!
MIDI TYPES: SC, SD, AX, GK, GR, Midi, Worldwide!
MIDI is implemented for more professional studio use, and offers 8-part multi-timbral channels, one of which is the rhythm track. There are 6 'Part' buttons on the face of the module for useful access to changing patches within a part. The ROLAND MT-32 is a great source for quick access D-50 sounds in a convenient, compact tone module!!!
