Sunday is calm and peaceful in the Nigerian village of Ife. Its wide streets are almost empty and the cool night air lingers. "I did this painting on a Sunday morning visit to Ife," Mukaila Ayoade says. "What fascinated me was the serene atmosphere and the arrangement of the buildings."
