What you will be holding in your hand is part of a celebration of what makes the Hockey’s game, the beautiful game. This piece is part of Canada history and a story. It’s a small part of the games soul and a countries passion.
Hockey inspires such fervour that it has often been compared to a religion. The arenas are its temples, and the star players its high priests. The riot that broke out in the Montreal Forum on March 17, 1955 when Maurice Richard was suspended is perhaps the most striking example of the attachment of Canadiens fans and supporters to their idol and hero … the hockey player. “Hockey is a game that is in Canadians’ blood and the passion for the sport unites the country . With Canada’s harsh and cold climate with varied geography and multiple political allegiances, hockey rallies people together, serving as a common denominator among all Canadians.
Rare and very hard to find. This shirt is part of my personnel collection. These Authentic International Hockey shirts are not released to retail or general public in great numbers. These shirts were given to each countries federation. My shirts are collector items. All shirts are new with tags and never been worn. Please do not be fooled by people that claim to sell the International, IIHF Hockey shirts, or National Domestic countries shirts on ebay. These are Nike IIHF shirts.. Still people on ebay are claiming there shirts are National or IIHF Authentic shirts. Please see my Pictures I have on my other listings. There is a big difference. Other people on ebay are claiming to have these special jerseys, that they have made themselves. But these jerseys they are trying to sell. are not Nike International issued shirts ? Nike is the only Company that made these specific international items. Nike has sole right to these items. The rest are fakes and counterfeit items.
