This lot is one of many that come estate fresh from an old Bergen County, New Jersey home we recently liquidated. It was found hanging on a powder room wall, most likely undisturbed for a long time. We cleaned off the dust and it looks stunning!
The plate measures 8-1/2" in diameter and has two holes in the back for hanging (original wire free of charge). Superb condition - no chips or cracks. Super paing. Gold edging. Backmark shown in images below. There is an artist signature at lower left area also shown in close-up below. It looks like "J. Nakajima" to these eyes.
This lot will make a super addition to any Noritake collection.
