The compact S-1 Film Scanner fits easily on a desktop and allows dDP minilabs to make prints from both 135 mm and APS (IX240) film. Using a simple USB 2.0 connection, the S-1 is capable of scanning up to 550 frames per hour with a maximum optical resolution of 4,354 dpi. The S-1 Film Scanner offers enhanced digital correction technology to optimize scanned film. Standard with the S-1 is Digital Ice™ software from Kodak, which corrects dust and scratches on the base layer of film. Optional Noritsu Digital Masking Software helps correct deeper base and emulsion side scratches.
