A Great example of Catawba Valley Stoneware From the Reinhardt Brothers shop (c.1935).This churn was probably turned Harvey as he did most of the large utilitarian pots while Enoch turned most of the swirlware.Deep green woodfired alkaline glaze, one cord handle and one lug handle.Very large at 18 3/4" tall.Signed with stamp under lug handle.Very good condition with just a small 1/4" nick on rim and a 1/8" glaze flake on rim.would be an outstanding addition to any southern pottery collection.Due to the large size and weight I would prefer this pc be picked up in Lincolnton NC.If shipped I will have it done by a professional and will charge actual cost,I would guess due to size and weight it would cost $50.00 or more and would have to be fully insured..Please email questions prior to bidding.Churn will be for sale locally in my shop until it recieved a bid, once a bid has been placed I will not end auction. Thanks!!!South Southern folk art edgefield georgia. **********I will only divulge reserve to bidders******** *************SHIPPING WILL BE ADDED TO FINAL BID AT ACTUAL COST UNLESS PICKED UP***************************
