NOS 1940'S AJAX TRIPLE HOT NUT VENDING MACHINE W/ CUPS

  I bought this years ago from a old collector. He told me it was never used on a vending route or at all as far as I can see. He said it was new old stock. It is an Ajax Dist. Co. Deluxe Triple Hot Nut Vendor from the 1940's. Measures 22" tall x 16 1/2" long. The electrical cord looks as if it was never pulled open. All 3 vendors work like new. The heating strips have been disconnected for safety reasons. It is now wired to only use the top light. I would not trust the heating elements since they are over 60 years old, many of these smoke or at least stink when used. The vending wheels show no signs of ever being used. The wires are color coded to show how it was originally wired out of the factory.  This machine has not been polished or buffed like a restored machine.  It has scuffs and small knicks but still very nice. The lock area on the back door has some small pin holes in the casting. This was normal for many of these when they came out of the factory.  One 5 cent decal has a small piece missing. The top of the cup dispenser has a small rust area as shown in the photos. I will remove the glass globes and pack them off the machine.
