This auction is for a new vintage IHC sickle repair block
This is a brand new IH sickle repair block.
This block was used by the farmer to remove and replace sickle sections and ledger plates to keep his mowing machines in top shape.
They are tough to find today especially in this condition. I don't remember ever seeing another IH sickle block myself.
This is a genuine International Harvester block. Each company made their own such as John Deere and others.
Look at the photos, you can see the part #M2192 and also the famous IHC globe logo stamped into the block.
It is painted in the transparent blue paint that plow shares were painted with.
It comes with the two posts as seen in the photos but the set and punch tools would have been supplied seperately as they were not attached to the sickle block.
This cast iron block is new old stock and is a great vintage piece to add to a collection.
It is a heavy piece.
