| This is gorgeous piece of the NWA 2086 meteorite. I bought this meteorite in Morocco in 2003. NWA 2086 is a very rare type of meteorite, a Carbonaceous Chondrite, (CV3). It is shock level 1 and weathering level 3. There were many fragments of a large stone, with a total known weight of ~10 kilograms. This piece is a beautiful cut fragment that weighs 7.573 grams. This is a beautiful piece, wonderful multi-colored chondrules in a gray matrix. It is in a plastic display box. The cube in the photo measures 1 cm. It is for measurement purposes only and not included in the auction. See the official classification at the following link.
