NWT 09/10 MARINO ORLANDI SHOULDER BAG PURSE TOTE

I have read that the most important thing in a woman's wardrobe is her handbag.  I would certainly agree with that!!!!  Just in direct from Italy for the 09/10 season, new with tags, gorgeous authentic Marino Orlandi hand made in Italy (entirely by hand I believe), style 3398, LG/XLG fully glazed leather shoulder bag purse tote, with double top zip entry closure (instead of the common one top zip closure - this bag has double compartment top zip closure), wide double straps, high polished gold tone equistrian style hardware with 3 oversized zipper pulls (this is the only bag/style and with oversized zipper pulls let alone 3 of them that I have come across - making this bag very rare), and easy care crisp plaid fabric lining (their fabric linings are unsurpassed!).   Color - to me it is a basically 3 tone done in colors I would describe as their glazed coffeebean/wine (and a very subtle hint of black throughout the color on the front).  Beautiful and so versitle.  Has that intoxicating aroma that Marino Orlandi's glazed leathers are so known for.   Leather makes that crunchy / twisty sound of new glazed leather.   Has detailed reinforced stitching in matching color throughout - one a larger stitch accented by a smaller stitch.   Opens wide for ease of use.  The leather has the firmer glazed throughout and the well known aroma of Marino Orlandi glazed leathers, that is intoxicating.  This bag will carry softly and gently against the body and is structurally firm and stands on its own when empty.  There are 4 zip compartments to keep you perfectly organized and you will have no stacking of items in this roomy bag!  There is an exterior zip compartment on the back. The back top zip entry compartment house a zip compartment on the back wall and there is the top zip entry compartment at the front.   Has oversized Marino Orlandi logo on the front.  I don't find the "Marino Orlandi MADE IN ITALY GENUINE LEATHER"  information embossed in the leather and there is no interior patch with the information - however I have seen other of their bags come in with just the embossed logo so it is not uncommon or unusual to have them come in from Marino Orlandi this way.  I just purchased this bag from TJMAX-they just got it in.  TJMax and their partner stores Marshalls are the only authorized stores in the U.S. to sell Marino Orlandi bags.   I believe the suggest retail is around $500.00-$550.00 on up!         

 This is a perfect every day carry bag for business or casual.  Will wear with a business suit/pant suit to blue jeans.  Measurements: approximately 15 and 12 inches long (bag partially stuffed laying completely flat measuring across the middle from side to side, 12 and 3/4 inches tall measuring to top, and 6 and 12 inches wide.  The wide double straps provide for a shoulder drop of about 13 inches.  If you want even more flair add a snap tab to the straps - that is what I do - not only does it add flair, it keeps the straps together and I leave the snap tab at about the top of the shoulder or slide it down towards right above where the straps meets.  Will carry softly against the body.  Has the quiet flat base which is nice as it won't make that clicky sound when the bag is set down.   Sits perfectly upright when empty - very structurally firm.   The color is even throughout - any variance in color is due to shadows cast by the sun, clouds, or lighting.   This bag is very rare.  Gorgeous bag, gorgeous color and design.  You can always count on Marino Orlandi to bring us such fun bags to carry.  A work of art.
