This stunning jacket design was featured in the
CHANEL Runway show from Fall 2007. It is a fabulous jacket paired with black pants or skirt or just worn casual with jeans for a dressed up, dressed down look. This jacket originally retailed for over $10235.00!!! It is absolutely stunning and photos do not do it justice.
The basic construction is a black/white boucle, which appears to be woven with silver threads intertwined. The piping/edging on the jacket is a black mesh that surrounds tubes of white sequins! Banded around the outside of the mesh/net are black sequins, wound randomly every 1-2”. Please look closely at the photos. The level of detail and workmanship is amazing! This is classic Chanel and cannot be compared to any other designer!
The edging goes around the entire jacket, collar and on the pockets. The jacket has a single hook/eye closure at the top to hold it closed. It is meant to be worn loosely open and can fit a variety of sizes.
A small COCO Logo is on one side of the jacket.
Measurements are as follows, taken with the jacket edges just touching in the front. If worn loosely open, you could probably size up 1-2 inches on the bust.
