This is a wonderful CHANEL jacket and skirt suit. The tailoring is impeccable on this comfortable and casual suit for summer! The jacket alone is worth the price of the suit and retailed for $4500 in peak season! And you get the matching skirt for less than half the cost of the jacket alone!
The fabric is a loose weave – perfect for spring/summer. The jacket cut is very generous and could probably fit up to a size 44-46. Please note measurements. The sleeves are also cut wider and open 8 inches at the bottom – almost like a bell shape. The sleeve length is a bracelet cut – also shorter for spring/summer days. A coordinating beige satin camellia pin is included on the jacket.
The jacket closes with 3 coordinating buttons and one button adorns each pocket. I particularly like the way the jacket is cut in the back. The jacket is fully lined in 100% silk and a goldtone chain lines the bottom.
The skirt is also an interesting cut – tight in the waist and across the hips and falling into a cascade of box pleats. The back of the skirt has a hidden zipper and buttons that coordinate with the buttons on the jacket.
Measurements are as follows, taken with the jacket buttoned closed. If worn loosely open, you could probably size up 1-2 inches on the bust.
