Measurements, sizing, and returns

All sales are final - if we have not listed the measurements and you are not sure about fit then please send us an email and we will take and post measurements. We are not seamstresses or tailors and do our best to measure accurately, but all measurements are approximate and not guaranteed. Most formal gowns and wedding boutique dresses are true to actual sizes, many popular designers of career and casual wear use more liberal measurements.

Flaws and Returns
Our clothes are not all perfect- we do our best to find the flaws and record them, study the photos carefully. If we miss a flaw we cannot be responsible. The only way we will sell an item with damage that interferes with use (eg broken zipper or obvious stain) is if we make it clear in the description. We shop the Cape Cod sales, buy samples from designer sales people, buy in lots, catalog returns, and second hands from estate, moving and private sales. Some of our clothes are gently worn - when that is the case we make that clear.

Please note that colors display differently on different monitors, and we cannot take returns or exchanges for the wrong color. When possible, we will provide the designer's / manufacturer's name for color. If you have any questions about color please email us.

**IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FEEDBACK*** Since eBay instituted its star rating system, we have watched our ratings for shipping prices drop to 4.20 stars. Still above average, but it is troubling because we only charge ACTUAL shipping fees. Unlike many unlike many eBay stores we do not add handling fees, and we do not mark shipping up. We only pass the ACTUAL cost on to you. We use the USPS priority and express options as most first class options have to be done at the local post office and that is not feasible for us. Generally that savings is very small and doesn't include any tracking. Please consider this when leaving feedback. We return positive feedback and appreciate those who remember to take that extra step. Remember, also, that if there is a problem with your item, contact us before leaving negative feedback and we will do what we can to help. We return all types of feedback, in kind. Thanks! We have decided to institute a trial policy regarding returns.
Although we will now except returns we can 
NOT REFUND ANY SHIPPING FEES.
We also need to have a mutual end of sale agreement reached before actually refunding the item cost - this allows us to recoup a part of the fees eBay charges to sell, eBay does not allow us to recoup the fees to list and item so we will take that loss.
