When purchasing a gown, PLEASE do your best to take accurate measurements. Formal wear sizing is not the same as every day wear. You will find formal wear sizing to run at least 1 to 2 sizes smaller than every day wear, so if you normally wear a size 12, chances are very good you will measure up to a size 14 or even 16 in formal wear. We list the manufacturers suggested measurements for every gown in our auctions as a guideline for you, but please keep in mind that most formal wear will need some altering.
