I have read that the most important thing in a woman's wardrobe is her handbag.  I would certainly agree with that!!!!  Put a bounce in your step with this gorgeous bag which was not sold in the U.S. - it was imported directly from Italy, Marino Orlandi.   Therefore it is a one of a kind and it is highly unlikey you will ever come across another.  Gorgeous authentic Marino Orlandi hand made in Italy (entirely by hand I believe), style 22283, LG/XLG fully glazed leather shoulder sling bag purse tote that carries as a shoulder / sling bag, a backpack, or by hand, with high polished gold tone equistrian style hardware, front flap equistrian slide through secure snap logo closure, and drawstring around the top, with high polished gold tone end caps.   The drawstring can be closed or left loose - makes no difference - just depends on one's preference.  Color - a gorgeous 2 tone beautifully glazsed chestnut.  Has 5 compartments to keep you perfectly organized and you will have no stacking of items in this roomy bag.  Has the much desired and sought after front north zip double entry front roomy compartment, and a back zip roomy compartment, and the spacious interior houses a zip compartment on the back and a leather cell phone pocket compartment on the front.  Wide fully adjustable strap with 3 prepunched holes, and two original snap tabs.  High polished gold tone equistrian style hardware throughout, including oversized half moon "O" ring, studs, and zipper pulls, grommet at back base, oblong strap rings at top sides, and buckle.  Crisp easy care jewel tone stripped fabric lining in a spash of 6 gorgeous colors!   The front has this gorgeous jewel tone stripped lining on both sides - it is the only one I have seen that has the fabric lining on both sides of the front compartment - all others have had both fabric and the faux leather in a mocha or black.   Basically new with tags (tag is inside the bag) - I have only carried this gorgeous bag maybe 4-5 times as a shoulder / sling bag - not as a back pack.  I am not a backpack person.   Opens wide for ease of use.  The leather is of the thicker but lighter weight firm glazed leather throughout and has the well known aroma of Marino Orlandi glazed leathers, that is intoxicating - structurally firm and stands on its own when empty.  Detailed stitching throughout in a gorgeous contrasting coppery peach  throughout - one a larger stitch accented by a smaller stitch.   "Marino Orlandi" and logo are embossed north / south on each side.  "Marino Orlandi MADE IN ITALY GENUINE LEATHER" is embossed in the leather label sewn inside the bag.  Suggested retail I believe is around $650.00 on up!  This is a very rare one of a kind bag.   The other ones similar in style seen recently on ebay in black, are the older version and are of the considerablly heavier leather. This one has the nicer glazed leather and won't weigh you down.     

 Measurements: approximately 14 and 3/4 inches long (bag partially stuffed laying completely flat measuring across the middle from side to side at widest point including flap pockets at sides), 12 and 3/4 inches tall measuring to top, and 8 inches wide.  The fully adjustable strap with high polished gold tone equistrian style  buckle measures approximately 65 and 7/8 inches.  Shortest drop as a shoulder bag is about 13 and 1/2 inches - longest about 16 and 1/2 inches.  And of course, more holes could be added making a longer or shorter drop.   At the shortest postion will carry against the hip, back and away from you.  Has five gold tone feet to protect the base and keep the bag sitting upright-sits perfectly upright when empty.  The color is even throughout - any variance in color is due to shadows cast by the sun, clouds, or lighting.  After the second time I carried it I noted that some of the gold is off the clasp at the bottom - not noticeable and not siginifigant and will give you no problems whatsoever.  This just naturally happened - I haven't banged the bag against anything.   As I have often said these bags are made by hand by skilled Italian artisians and I would rather have a gorgeous well made one a kind bag made by hand with a flaw here or there, then one made by hand that looks like everybody elses.   You can count on Marino Orlandi to bring us such fun bags to carry.  They are truely works of art.  Check out my guides on Marino Orlandi and how to maintain your treated leather goods, and other guides you may find of interest.   Yes votes and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
