This gorgeous hand sculpted slice of functional art hand bag is "Devon". Having some experience with wood crafting myself I am amazed at the detail in this finely crafted slice of functional art.   Devon  measures 10" wide, 5" tall and 3.5" wide.  She can either be carried as a clutch or she  also sports a tuckable 24" black braided satin strap for hands free use.  She secures with a brass TW inscribed fold over clasp.   The interior is lined in black bengaline silk with a zipper pocket.  Please note the  Timmy Woods line has gone up in price making it more difficult to purchase them at these prices. I will honor any "reasonable offer".

Welcome to my new world of highly collectible handbags. One of my other passions, outside of jewelery design , has been handbag design. While I have previously offered my own pieces in ebay & continue to sell my own pieces in a boutique I no longer have the time to dedicate to this passion. I do think it is a lovely complement to the jewelery items I sell  for any of you trying to put a "special look" together for that "special event".  I have opted to seek out artist inspired, limited edition handbags &  silk scarves ( hopefully in Spring ) to accomodate our love for the beautiful & unique wearable treasures in life. Please keep in mind this is a new venture & will take some time but I think any of you who know me know  whatever leaves this store will be FABULOUS & of the highest quality. Timmy Woods of Beverly Hills was launched in 1992 by  artist designer and entrepreneur Timmy Woods. The line focuses on innovative designs that appeal to women with a wide range of interests. All items are sculpted by hand  (many in the Phillipines) from fallen acacia trees,  lined with silky bengaline, and have tucked in satin rope handles for shoulder wear unless otherwise specified. Her bags have been seen in highly acclaimed citcoms and sported by many in the entertainment world.  For each tree used two are replanted in their place. Each bag takes 30 or more days to complete. These bags are collected both for personal use or as visual collectibles. Most of these pretties  are very limited in space with small openings for perhaps a cell phone, keys , lipstick and a small wallet.
